GALVESTON BAY FISHING REPORTS

 3-24-08 - This past wk. was off & on. We had one trip that produced some nice trout, but the very next day at the some spot we only caught a few trout. We have been fishing in west bay for our trout. When the trout bite hasn't been on we have had to head to the jetties to catch a variety of fish.( black drum-redfish-sheephead-trout) Some of those trips have been fast action and super fun. We will continue to try to stay on the trout, but those jetty trips are a good option. We will be trying some new areas this wk. so check back with us next wk.

 3-12-08 - Thanks to everyone who came by our both at the fishing show to visit with us. We really enjoy talking to our customers & people who read our fishing reports. My brother & I always like to talk about fishing with all of you. As for fishing this week - the trout bite has been average at best. The weather this time of year causes fishing to be tricky. That's not to say tomorrow or the next day won't be great. That's all part of fishing. On Tuesday and today we caught plenty of fish. Both days catches consisted of a few trout 18- 20 in. range, some nice redfish, (slot & oversized) some big drum & puppy drum, nice sheephead and whiting. I believe the trout bite will turn on soon w/better winds & cleaner water. We have a couple of days available these next 2 wks. - call us if you want to get on the water 

 3-5-08 - This week we will be at be at the fishing show at the George Brown Conv. Center. If you get a chance, come by and visit with us. Our reports will pick up again after the show
